That story in 2 Chronicles is one I've meditated on many times in this last year too. I was encouraged to pray the way that Jehosaphat does ... "O Lord, DID YOU NOT _______?" Looking back over our own lives and even those in our families who have gone before us, is a great way to see what God has done in our lives. He is faithful. For sure. But the big message I always get from the story is that God instructs them on the EXACT battle plan of the enemy - tells them where to stand and be ready - but then just to stand - that they won't have to fight! Love it. And then, the king adds his own twist in there ... he marches out to take up their positions (where they'll just be standing, not fighting) and they all start singing and praising God. And the enemy just falls dead left, right, and center! There is so much plunder and loot that they don't even know what to do with it all. Such hope and encouragement, yes!? Love you, Katie.
